Zambia-Malawi Corridor Payments

Cross-border payments, corridor by corridor

BwanaPay is building a mobile-first payments experience for Southern Africa, starting with the Zambia-Malawi corridor. Our current implementation demonstrates quoted transfers, send and request flows, transaction status tracking, and verifiable payment proof in a controlled prototype environment as we prepare for partner-led pilot operations.

The Problem

Cross-border payments remain more complex than they should be, especially across neighboring African markets. Users often face unclear costs, fragmented payout options, limited transfer visibility, and delays that make everyday family, trade, and business payments harder to manage.
